Pretty cool, but I still prefer the GW system.

It gives those who've been playing for a long time some kind of reward, but it's always something to look forward to, even if you're a new player. Plus, the gifts are randomised. Everyone getting the same thing makes it slightly less special, especially when everyone gets it at the same time.

As much as I would like a mini-me just as most others would, assuming everyone had one the amount of addition processing power that the game would require would be catastrophic. Because at that point, not only would the game have to render each and every player, but it then has to do this twice, on top of running the coding required to determine which armor you are wearing a second time, on top of having to continuously check. When you change your armor, it only has to check once. Having a min that looks identical to you and changes armor would be a static variable that would have to change each and every second, thus requiring consistent checks.

I personally think it is a great idea, but I don't think it would turn out for the better in the end.

And, I think a Shiro'ken Construct would be a good idea for a mini, with a changing aura to represent each of the professions.

Yeah, I'm shocked there isn't an afflicted mini considering the volume of them you face in the Factions campaign. I also think a Tengu would be cool, especially when running to follow you.
